2024 Ducking Hunger Regatta

2024 1st Place winner is Duck #718, Cavaline Votaw! Winning a season pass to Leitchfield Aquatic Center is Steve & Joanie Powell (2nd Place) and Jennifer Dudgeon (3rd Place). For the second year in the row all the ducks were adopted and a record $17,599 was raised to support GCA and our programs! THANK YOU!

Every September up to 2,000 little ducks race to the finish line to fight hunger. Each little duck is adopted for $5 and all adopted ducks race for $1,000 cash prize. Every Duck adopted helps provide 40 meals to lower income families in Grayson County through the GCA Food Pantry.

Tickets to adopt the little racing ducks go on sale to general public on July 21 through August 31 each year. Tickets will be sold online or can be purchased by check or cash at the Food Pantry just call 270-259-4000. 

There are only 2,000 tickets for sale and selling the all the tickets raises $10,000 (approximately 80,000 meals) for the Alliance Food Pantry.

Decorate your Beach Ball Duck and submit a photo to info@gc-alliance.com by August 27 for judging and social media promotions.  Contest winner receives bragging rights for the year and a traveling trophy to showcase at their office.
