Watch the fun we have on race day for the Ducking Hunger Regatta. 1st place of the final heat wins $1,000 cash prize! The real winners are the hungry families that the Food Pantry helps feed each month.
Every September up to 2,000 little ducks race to the finish line on the Lazy River at the Leitchfield Aquatic Center. to fight hunger. Each little duck is adopted for $5 each and race for $1,000 cash prize. Every Duck adopted helps provide 13 meals to lower income families in Grayson County through the GCA Food Pantry.
Businesses and individuals show their support for the Regatta by becoming a sponsor for $50 or more.

Sponsors are also invited to participate in our "Duckeration" Contest. Sponsors decorate their beach ball duck to represent them the day of the race. Contest winner receives bragging rights for the year and a traveling trophy to showcase at their office.
Tickets to adopt the little racing ducks go on sale mid-July at the annual Fiddling Fest on the Leitchfield Square. There are only 2,000 tickets for sale and selling the all the tickets would raise $10,000 for the Alliance Food Pantry. support is key to the success of this fundraiser. Groups and business can help sell the tickets by contacting the GCA office.
These cute little yellow ducks bring are so much fun to watch as they race but they have a serious job. Raising funds for the GCA Food Pantry to provide meals for 700+ served by the Food Pantry.
