2022 Ducking Hunger Regatta

Ducking Hunger 2022

Every September up to 2,000 little ducks race to the finish line  to fight hunger. Each little duck is adopted for $5 and race for $1,000 cash prize. Every Duck adopted helps provide 40 meals to lower income families in Grayson County through the GCA Food Pantry.


Tickets to adopt the little racing ducks go on sale to general public on July 20 through August 31 each year. Tickets will be sold online or can be purchased at the Food Pantry. There are only 2,000 tickets for sale and selling the all the tickets would raise $10,000 (approximately 80,000 meals) for the Alliance Food Pantry. 


Businesses and individuals show their support for the Regatta by becoming a sponsor for $50 or more. 

Quacky Level $200 & Up Regatta Sponsors receive:

  • Company Name and/or Logo Race Day Sponsor Board
  • Social Media Post featuring Quacy (mascot) at your location.
  • 2 Race Duck Tickets, Beach Ball Duck & sponsor door cling 
  • Duckeration contest entry*

*ALL Sponsors are also invited to participate in our  "Duckeration" Contest.   

Decorate your Beach Ball Duck and submit a photo to info@gc-alliance.com by August 26 for judging and social media promotions.  Contest winner receives bragging rights for the year and a traveling trophy to showcase at their office. 


Ducky Level $100 Regatta Sponsors receive:

  • Company Name on Race Day Sponsor Board
  •  1 Race Duck Ticket, Beach Ball Duck and door cling for display
  •  Option to compete in the Duckeration Contest  (see above)


Webby Level $50 Regatta Sponsors receive:

  • Company Name on Race Day Sponsor Board  
  • Beach Ball Duck and door cling for display
  • Option to compete in the Duckeration Contest (see above)


Deadline to become a sponsor is August 26, 2022.  If you have any questions contact GCA office 270-259-4000. Sponsors can make checks payable to GCA and mail to P.O. Box 57, Leitchfield, KY 42755.
